DD2 had been isolating since Sunday as she was a close contact of someone at school with Covid.
We all (husband, me and our 3 children) had coughs earlier on the weekend but tested negative.
Youngest DC is fine now but the rest of us are coughing more. I didn't send DD1 or DS to school /nursery today and want to get us all except DS retested but my husband thinks I'm being ridiculous but just because our tests were negative at the weekend doesn't mean they will be now.
I'm probably just going to ignore him and book tests for me and my daughter's tomorrow anyway but do you think it's unreasonable to test again?

Not unreasonable at all, please do get a PCR test for peace of mind. You’re not sending them in anyway, so where’s the harm?
