Forgot ziplock bag

I did a home pcr test today (Zoe app recommended) but when I sealed the box I realised I'd forgotten to put the biohazard bag into the ziplock bag.

Does anyone know if they'll still test it ?

I got the bags completely mixed up (used the inner one as the outer one) and they still tested it. I think it will depend on who opens it and their initiative. They may have to dispose of it due to infection control reasons.

I think the bag and the little mop tissue are just there in case it breaks and leaks on the way. And any potential covid liquid can’t leak through the box. I presume test all the same as must occasionally get out of bags that are not sealed properly.

I've just gone and done the same thing OP! Sealed the biohazard bag then realised I hadn't used the ziplock bag. Did you still get a result?x

They did test it and it was negative thankfully. It took 48 hours though

I'd forgotten to put the biohazard bag into the ziplock bag I've been putting the zip lock bag into the biohazard bag. Is that wrong?
