Allergy & second vaccine

Hi everyone, My DH was allergic to the Astra vaccine. Ongoing breathing & lung issues. In an out of hoz since Easter hols. Has anyone had the same reaction and have you had a second vaccine yet? Dr's saying if anything Pfizer for him in the future. All very worrying tbh. Admittingly he is allergic to Penicillin, tomatoes, bee strings, prawns, dust and pets (other then hammies - though he takes an antihistamine everyday for that). It is really getting him down as you can imagine. Thank you so much for any replies.

If there are medical people on here that might have some insight? Many thanks!

Not medical background but did have allergic reaction to AZ (after first dose and same reaction again after second). After talking with my gp, we discussed that if I ever had another booster it would have to be in a medical setting and not AZ but I am very unlikely to take another covid jab. Have you spoken to doctor for any advice? My doctor was very honest and said there’s just so much they don’t know yet but was very supportive at my decision to probably never have another covid jab. I think your he’s better is to chat with your own gp. Not a nice predicament to be in and booster jabs can also bring its own issues.

Thank you Mooshie for sharing your story with me. It feels useful to hear what others are doing with the same type of problem. :-)
