DS very reluctantly had his first jab today. He tells me it was AZ and he was given a leaflet about needing to be extra vigilant about side effects 😳

I mistakenly thought they were giving Moderna or Pfizer to those under 40!

Did I miss something?

Scratch that. He fibbed for dramatic effect.

Idiot. 🙄😊

It shouldn't be AZ. I would be really annoyed.

Maybe get this deleted with MNHQ op?

Rillington · 22/06/2021 20:13

Even if he did have the AZ what's the drama?

@Rosehip10

Maybe get this deleted with MNHQ op?

Why?

@Rillington

Even if he did have the AZ what's the drama?

Because AZ is associated with a side effect that's undesirable, namely blood clots.

I personally would have no issue with that risk (unless I copped it 😜) being 58; but AZ is not currently recommended for younger people so I was surprised he'd been given it (and surprised he hadn't queried it).

However....😂

That’s brilliant. Very funny.
