Pfizer Jab

Hi everyone,

I had the Pfizer jab (1st one) a couple weeks ago. No major side affects I am pleased to say...

However I have now read that the Pfizer can cause delays in your period starting. Anyone else find this? My partner and I are TTC and I'm due on Friday. Usually I get spotting in the lead up, but have had nothing. I don't want to get my hopes up, especially if it's a side effect of the jab?

If your period was delayed after the jab, can you please tell me how long by?

Mine was affected by the second Pfizer, about a month delayed.

No, but I ovulated (don’t normally as have mirena) and had a heavier ‘period’ than normal which was slightly painful. So, unusual, but not late.

Mine was not delayed. No different to usual.

My period was very light (very noticeable as normally heavy) but came on time.

Mine was on time but ridiculously heavy after the first jab and delayed by almost 2 weeks after the 2nd. I saw something in the news yesterday about experts saying menstrual changes and the vaccine are not linked but I've never had delays or extremely heavy periods before.

Hi, Ive just googled to find a forum about this. I had my vaccine on the 28th May which was about 3 days into my period. I had about a week of nausea and vomiting and then I was fine. My cycles are 25 days, sometimes 26 and very occasionally 27... I'm on day 28 and not sign of my period at all. I did a pregnancy test this morning which was negative... Which I'm not surprised as we used contraception. So I'm like 2/3 days late now. Really hope I'm come on soon...

I didn't realise but mine actually came sooner after my second jab. Very unusual for me. I had one four days after the jab and it wasn't due for two weeks.

This month back to normal though, usual cycle. It's odd. Could be coincidence though I guess (mine are normally very regular though 27 or 28 days).
