Swollen Lymph node

Hello,

I was wondering if others had found swollen lymph nodes shortly after 1st vaccination, or whether it's a sign I might be suffering from a different virus/infection without really knowing it.
I was vaccinated on 14th June, just found a swollen lymph node on my right collar bone (I had injection in right arm if that's relevant!)
I've also got ME so sometimes a poor immune response!
It doesn't particularly bother or worry me, it's more out of interest if anyone else has had similar. I had Pfizer as under 40.
I've had swollen collarbone lymph nodes before (they're so weird they way you can move them around over the bone...) but not for a long time so it was a bit of a shock to suddenly notice it today.

I had AZ. Was like a marble on my collarbone!Later about a week and was really sore. Not so bad with 2nd though.

Ahh @BBOA thanks for your response. Sounds like probably the vaccine then. Good to hear yours has gone - they're so odd aren't they!

Yes I had this after my first dose (Pfizer) but very little reaction at all after my second dose

IcyCupcakes · 21/06/2021 15:59

I was just about to post something similar.

5 weeks after getting the AZ, I noticed changes win my nipple. 2 small lumps that seemed to come from one day to the next. I have some pain and it feels a bit I like I'm experiencing a breast milk let down.

Has anyone else had symptoms in breast, eg. new lumpy bits or different changes?

I had my vaccine 8 days ago today (Pfizer)

Woke up this morning with slight pain in armpit (arm where had jab) felt and i can feel a small lump which is tender to touch also had an ulcer in my mouth for past few days.

Ive spoke with doctor and he said it sounds like a swollen lymph node to get back in touch if doesn't go in next 2 weeks or goes bigger.

I read online earlier that people have been reporting the same.

Not sure about the ulcer but usually there signs your body is fighting something which the doctor said is the natural response after the vaccine.

Hopefully it is this and lump will go soon xx

Hi

People who have had this presumably due to vaccine how long did they take to go down.. i noticed mine on Monday and its still up so now I'm worried.

I noticed it first a week after my first Pfizer jab

Thanks

Alannawhorideslikeaman · 25/06/2021 09:24

Hi @Rosemariex I had my Pfizer jab on the 14th June, noticed my lymph node was up a week later and it's still there (but I think slightly reduced) currently (25th) so not quite a week since I noticed it. Id probably say call the gp if it hasn't gone over a fortnight, that's probably what I will do.

Moderna. I’ve had covid. My armpit was sore and swollen.

Purpleavocado · 25/06/2021 13:50

I've had AZ, swollen bumps in both armpits, they seem to be going down now.

BBOA · 25/06/2021 14:58

@IcyCupcakes maybe getting checked to be in the safe side.

Choccymumma · 25/06/2021 18:40

Moderna, lymph node on collarbone (same side as jab) 11 days later and still there now! 8 weeks! Not as noticeable now. Gp is pretty sure its a reaction, blood tests are clear.

Tiddleandplonk · 25/06/2021 19:33

I had a lump for 8 weeks after the az jab. Normally lumps go down around 2 weeks . Seems to.be a thing. I did get it checked .

whataballbag · 25/06/2021 20:41

Yes, my armpit was fucking ginormous for a few days after Pfizer

GlacindaTheTroll · 25/06/2021 20:52

I had mildly raised lymph nodes for about 24 hours, starting about 12 hours after AZ vaccination. It's listed in the side effects as occurung about 1:1000 jabs given

Choccymumma · 03/10/2021 16:50

Reviving this thread as I still have my lymph node 3 months after second jab. Anyone else?
