Tested positive, will track and trace call me?

I’ve just received my positive test this morning.
Will track and trace call me or do they just use the app to track people you were in contact with?

@userchange8945 do you know how long after the positive test result they’ll contact me? That’s what I meant really. So is it 12 hours, 24 hours?

So we were contacted daily, pretty quickly after the notification.

(As in minutes as opposed to hours)

But our notification was middle of the day, not as early as this.

The next day for us

It's Test and Trace and had nothing to do with the app as they are separate entities

Although just to add the test was lost and linked on day 5 so further along the isolation period.

we had a positive test at 6 and a phone call at about 8 to go through contacts and movements. Never heard from them again apart from a text on day 3.
