Natural immunity and vaccine Immunity

Do we know, as I’ve been Googling but non the wiser what the protection offered by natural immunity is and what the protection offered by the vaccine is. Hearing a lot about the vaccines being less effective against the delta variant and wondering if natural immunity offers greater protection.

I'd like to know too but I'm guessing no one really knows yet.

I've just done an antibody test which shows I have antibodies from having had Covid in January. The text says I can still catch and spread the virus so must follow Covid rules although the chance of infection after having had Covid or a vaccine is lower.
