Hello. Just been for a test with dd1 who has a (very wet) cough. She has had a cold since Thursday, so she's been off. She is absolutely fine but has a cough but thought I would test Incase, as I thought if I send her to school with a cough she will be sent home. Just wondering, in others experience, how long we will have to wait for the result? The testing man was quite vague!

I've never waited more than around 16 hours for results, including earlier this week as ds and I also have awful colds/coughs. Both negative, lots of cold infections going around.

My dd has had 2 tests and I've had 1. All three times we heard in under 20 hours, twice we heard back that night.

Test at 10.30am today, result back at 9pm tonight. Very impressive!

Oh that's excellent, are you guys in busy areas? I'm in the borders and it's going crazy by all accounts! Test was 11 today, hope I hear soon!
