I am just wondering if anyone here knows the answer.
We now know that the Indian variant is somewhat resistant to the vaccines, however is it resistant to the antibodies developed after the illness with the same variant?
Just thinking out loud, if we protected some part of the population with the vaccines and another part gets it in the next few weeks - we have reached herd immunity as people who had it won’t get it again? (Unless there is another variant and all goes back to square one)
