Terrified to get my second vax

I've not recovered from my first AZ. I had the standard flu like thing and it went, but I'm still exhausted five weeks on. There's no way I want to gothrough this again. I honestly don't want to be alive anymore feeling this hopeless. I don't enjoy anything I used to. I can barely carry out my caring duties for my kids. I am in hell.

Have you spoken to your gp?

nethunsreject · 15/06/2021 18:37

Yes. But I find it hard to speak to her. She's new. Fobs me off.

I'm so scared I've got ME or something like that

I don't want to ask GP tbh as I'm scared something is wrong with me. And I'll be like this long term.

I very much doubt your symptoms are down to the vaccine 5 weeks on -
Vaccines don't give you m.e . If you have m.e, you've probably had it a while and to be honest the heat makes you more tired.

ApolloandDaphne · 15/06/2021 18:40

It is very possible you have a virus or something completely unrelated to your vaccine. I've not heard of anyone having a reaction such as yours.

Well what's the alternative? If something is wrong, it'll be wrong whether you see the GP or not. Covid will make you feel a hell of a lot worse, and long Covid can last months. Speak to your gp, and get your second vaccine sorted

Make another GP appointment and ask for a blood test. At least you'll have more idea what it might be.

Roonerspismed · 15/06/2021 18:46

A lot of people are saying this. Please speak to your GP and please yellow card ifn

BeachWaves2 · 15/06/2021 18:51

Don't get it then..

nethunsreject · 15/06/2021 18:51

Thanks for the responses all. I will speak to nurse or GP and fill in yellow card online once I am able.
