Ibuprofen after az jab?

I had my second jab today, and I'm very grateful for having had it. However, I now have a very unpleasant headache, body aches and a raised temperature. I felt very similar after the first jab for a day or two, but had hoped it would be milder after the second shot.

The NHS website seems to say it's OK to take ibuprofen after the jab, but I've read that it can interfere with the immune response. Does anyone have any idea if this is true? DH has used all of the paracetamol.

It's fine to take ibuprofen or paracetamol after, just not before. Here:

I wouldn't touch aspirin though because of the bleed risk.

Thanks @MRex. I feel asleep eventually, and I'm feeling a bit better this morning. Still have a bit of a headache but temperature has come down so I'll see how it goes today. It's good to know that I can take something if needed.

That's good. Hopefully that's all you'll be getting so it's done now.
