Does this seem legitimate?
The advice after the result doesn't seem right. This is after a PCR test I'm told
Thankyou

PCR result

To me it reads as though it was actually a negative result 🤔

OP posts:
MoppaSprings · 10/06/2021 10:09

Can you contact them to check your result

Seeline · 10/06/2021 10:10

I haven't seen a positive result, but I agree, that doesn't read right to me.

Di you give your email address too, because I've had text and emails to inform me of the result. THat may be clearer?

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 10/06/2021 10:13

It's my nasty ex. He sent me this two weeks ago and couldn't see the children over half term because of it.
I've only just realised it's not right. He cancelled our 3 little ones
I didn't know he could still make me this angry

OP posts:
Freshprincess · 10/06/2021 10:14

I haven’t seen a positive one but that is the exact wording on my negative one.

PlantDoctor · 10/06/2021 10:15

I would put money on it being photoshopped. The font for "positive" is a different size and not in line with the rest of the text!

Seeline · 10/06/2021 10:16

Ah right - yes that has been altered. HTe word positive is in a different sized font.

What a nasty thing to do. Was it just to get him out of seeing his own children?!

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 10/06/2021 10:17

I KNEW IT!!!!
I have nowhere to put this rage I am beyond fuckin furious
Thankyou

OP posts:
Freshprincess · 10/06/2021 10:17

Oh well in that case he’s faked it. See how the word positive is slightly bigger than the rest of the text. And the big gap doesn’t look right either.

Faking a positive to serve his DCs at half term. What a charmer.

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 10/06/2021 10:17

Yes he is the worst lowest form of life in the world

OP posts:
sqirrelfriends · 10/06/2021 10:18

The font for "positive" is different and doesn't line up very well. He's taken his negative result and put positive over it.

Honestly, he must be a bit thick. If he wanted it to look realistic he could have just sent it to himself under a legit sounding contact name, after changing the details.

HoneyPea · 10/06/2021 10:18

Nope a positive result looks like this

PCR result
StormcloakNord · 10/06/2021 10:19

Yeah that looks like the word 'positive' has been photoshopped in.

I can't believe anyone would do this to get out of looking after their kids.

He sounds like an absolute scumbag.

PurpleSunrise · 10/06/2021 10:19

That’s the message for a negative test, the advice below would be incorrect for a positive result. Not to mention “positive” is different size text and clearly been inserted in there

StormcloakNord · 10/06/2021 10:21

I hope you message him and tell him you know fine well he went to the effort of faking a positive test result to avoid his kids.

What an absolute wanker. I'm furious on your behalf OP.

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 10/06/2021 10:22

Thank you all.
This person is the worst thing I've ever come across but even this still surprises me.
He's put me through hell but this is him causing them hurt now, I won't be taking it lying down.
Thankyou
I'm crying furious tears

OP posts:
Onceuponatime1818 · 10/06/2021 10:24

Wow what an absolute asshole. I’m sorry he did this to you and his children.

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 10/06/2021 10:25

I don't even know what to do now. He's supposed to have them later

OP posts:
TheTeenageYears · 10/06/2021 10:26

That is despicable @iamtheoneandonlyyy, make sure you keep it somewhere safe in case you ever need it as evidence for custody related matters. If someone can post an example of a negative result keep that too as well as the real positive notification someone has already kindly posted. You just never know when it might be useful. If you haven't already let him know he's a lying scumbag, keep it to yourself - if you ever need to use the example as evidence it will be much more powerful if he's blindsided.

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 10/06/2021 10:27

I'll add it to the folder of evidence.

Does this seem legitimate? The advice after the result doesn't seem right. This is after a PCR test I'm told Thankyou
That’s been edited. If you look closely at “positive” you can see the alignment is very slightly off with the other text.
Redcrayons · 10/06/2021 10:29

Not that it makes much difference but here’s a negative one.

idontlikealdi · 10/06/2021 10:31

What a scumbag.

iamtheoneandonlyyy · 10/06/2021 10:31

@Redcrayons Thankyou I would appreciate that

Your coronavirus test result is negative. It’s likely you did not have the virus when the test was done.

Keep following coronavirus advice including:

regular handwashing
social distancing
wearing a face covering where recommended
You only need to self-isolate if:

you get symptoms of coronavirus (you’ll need to book a new test at www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test )
you’re going into hospital (self-isolate until the date you go in)
someone you live with tests positive
you’ve been traced as a contact of someone who tested positive
You can return to work if you’ve not had a high temperature for 48 hours and feel well. Contact your employer first.

For a care home resident, follow the care homes guidance.

For medical help, contact 111. In an emergency dial 999.
