Do we have to self isolate?

Ds has just been sent home from school due to a positive Covid case. It's a girl in his form so he's apparently a close contact and has to self isolate. Dh and I don't have to isolate too do we?

No, it's just your ds that needs to isolate

That's right OP, just your child isolates unless they develop symptoms and then it's you and your husband too.

Thanks. I thought so but just wanted to be sure. None of us have had to isolate before now.
