Moderna today. Feel ill

I apologise if there is already a thread running on this, I checked before posting and couldn't find one.

I had my 1st vaccine today, moderna.

Had it roughly 13 hours ago.

I feel like I have a terrible hangover! Headache, feel nauseous, body feels so heavy, feel like I can't keep my eyes open but can't actually sleep & omg the pain in my arm (at injection site) is something else!

Interested to know if anyone had these side effects and how long they lasted?

I know everyone is different just wanted some advice as I'm worrying I won't be fit enough to take dd to school tomorrow and I have no1 else.

There’s definitely a moderna side effect thread as I was posting on it a couple of weeks ago.

I’ve had covid and the day after my jab I ached, felt unwell, and had chills and sweating. The day after I had a sore armpit too but luckily felt completely back to normal.

Other friends who haven’t had covid have been perfectly fine, one friend who has had covid was ill like me.

I had my first Moderna dose today (yesterday now!) and ugh my arm!!!
My whole arm aches so badly, right down to my hand which feels like it has like a mild cramp feeling in the palm, awful!
Cannot get comfy enough to sleep, so feel it's going to be a long night

I had a very sore arm and was exhausted for a few days. I had it on a Friday and didn't feel myself again until Tuesday.

Thanks all . Hopefully start feeling better in a few hours/tomorrow. Strange, just woke up and the pain in my arm didn't feel as bad. Still feel nauseous etc so hopefully away tomorrow.

I had my second Moderna two days ago. For my first, I had a sore arm, a headache for several hours about 12 hours after the jab, and felt really out of it mentally the next day.

12 hours after my second jab, I got a headache and horrible nausea at the same time. It lasted for about 3 hours and then literally just disappeared in an instant. I was also groggy with a sore arm the next day. Totally back to normal now.

I had mine on Monday 24th - the literally a week after I had the worst feeling in my arm and the whole area had a red ring around it! It looked like a huge rash!

Talk about a delayed reaction 🤣
