COVID Guidelines 28 weeks

Hi,

I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant and due to relocate offices in a few weeks which will require me getting on a very busy train line twice a day.
My question is does anyone know if the guidelines that pregnant women at 28 weeks should work from home are going to change when/if the restrictions ease on 21st June?
I'm very concerned about being unvaccinated and travelling through the midlands twice a day 😔!

Best thing would be to talk to your manager. They need to do a risk assessment and you should work from home if you can’t social distance at work. Not sure if that applies to your commute or not. Could you get your vaccine before then? It’s available for pregnant women now.

I don’t know what the deal is after the 21st June for this, but when I entered the third trimester in November my work furloughed me and they used my need to commute using public transport on the risk assessment so it definitely should matter! Obviously for you, not being vaccinated yet (understandably) means that nothing much has changed in terms of your risk despite lockdown easing, so I should think your employer ought to consider this and take it seriously, as even though your risk is still low it’s higher than it normally would be in the third trimester.
