Moderna and swollen lymph nodes

Just wondering if anyone else has suffered this side effect after having the moderna vaccine?
I had my first jab last Sunday and since Thursday I have had swollen and painful lymph nodes behind my ears, neck, just above my collar, in my arm pit and breast, today they are also painful and swollen in my groin. It says on the information I have found that this can happen.
I was just wondering for anyone who may have had this side effect how long it lasted for? I've had no other symptoms, no cough or cold, no signs of infection. And any tips to relieve the pain/pressure?
If still this painful on Tuesday I'll contact my GP. Thanks

Yes I had a lymph node very noticeable on my collarbone 11 days after the Moderna jab. That was 5 weeks ago and its still here! It can be sore but not bad. I saw my GP anyway because its worth a mention. I dont know anyone who has had the Moderna so no one to ask so I joined a fb group, predominantly Americans and loads have had it.

Thanks for the reply. I'm the same only person I know who has had Moderna.

Will definitely speak to the GP as quite painful still especially the ones in my neck and making it difficult to swallow. Not sure I could cope with the pain at this level for 5 weeks. Thanks again.

My GP said they can take 6 weeks to go. They haven't been bad for that long though, sore for the first week and then come and gone since. The more I read the more it seems quite a normal reaction but always best to check. Take care.
