I got the Pfizer last week 5 days ago now . I keep getting waves of tiredness . Can’t do anything for about 20 mins then I’m mostly ok again . But it’s happening 5 or 6 times a day and by nighttime I’m literally useless . Also finding it hard to keep warm . Anyone else feel similar .

I am normally energetic . I have been tested for Covid and it was negative .

I have been experiencing something similar ! Suddenly lost of concentration and my car nearly got hit by another car yesterday due to my slow judgement. Then near dinner time I found that I forgot to switch on the cooker. So weird. Am I day dreaming ?

Omg this is me. If I’m honest I nearly had a fatal car accident and it’s been upsetting me since. I feel the same way

I’m feel in a fog and get tired quickly and lose concentration. Rang the dr today who said it may be early menopause it this happened within the first week of vaccine. Having blood tests to rule things out.
Have you had second one?

MissingTheMoonlight · 25/05/2021 17:48

Sorry it's been like this for you OP. I had no side effects other than a mild arm ache and I had my Pfizer 10 days ago.

Thelastwalker · 25/05/2021 18:36

I am menopausal so maybe all related alright . Vaccine probably affects different people in different ways . Glad I had it though . I agree I am a bit of a mental fog too .

I had it 8 days ago and have had a cold, an upset stomach, tiredness and a lot of brain fog in that time. It's difficult isn't it as I haven't felt myself and well since but I don't think my gp would be particularly interested.

Thelastwalker · 26/05/2021 07:53

Hopefully you will feel better @InTheGreatGreenRoom . I imagine it will all pass by . I think I feel a bit better this morning. Life is stressful enough with feeling off right now

4 days after Pfizer and I'm feeling really unwell.

joabch · 26/05/2021 08:13

Friend has also experienced similar, fine for a couple of days and then very unwell. I'm hoping it passes soon, I feel awful.

Cantspeakpublic · 26/05/2021 08:42

I have had an on off stomach upset too. Back from the school tu and dizzy again. Nearly 4 weeks in!

Wherediditgo · 26/05/2021 10:40

I know lots of people, myself included, suffering from brain fog at the moment. I haven’t even had a vaccine yet.

It could be anxiety for all of us. We’ve all been living a nightmare and have been cut off from essential human connection for so long. It pushes your body in to fight or flight as were programmed to feel threatened when we don’t have the protection of our ‘tribe’
I think it’s a lockdown phenomenon myself.

Cantspeakpublic · 26/05/2021 11:05

I believe this is true for some but I’m not anxious and this started with the vaccine. Not saying this isn’t true for some but isn’t for me. I doubt we will ever know! Just hope it settles soon for all Flowers

cornflake12 · 26/05/2021 11:39

Two weeks since my second as well as a 14 day period and still going I keep going really hot and then freezing cold and have had awful stomach cramps and diarrhoea. Fun times. Not

Thelastwalker · 26/05/2021 16:37

I’m definitely not as tired today had maybe 2 bouts of fatigue but the cold is unreal . I couldn’t feel my fingers at lunchtime . I’m nice and warm now as sat under a fleece and watched the Pact for afternoon .

Sounds like Raynauds. If you don't have that usually then it's worth talking to your GP, just so they can check for other nerve issues. Hopefully it'll resolve itself soon.

Anniissa · 26/05/2021 17:45

My brother had a bad case of Pfizer knee which left him on crutches for a week. Apparently swelling in the knee or calf is quite common but his was particularly bad as usually it resolves itself within a day or two. A friend had issues with cold with fingers going completely numb for a bit - usually she is the one overheating so was strange.

Mandalay246 · 27/05/2021 06:15

I'm not in the UK, but we've all had Pfizer at work, and apart from one woman feeling slightly unwell, and a couple feeling tired for a day or two, there have been no side effects at all (other than the sore arm).

GypsyWanderer · 27/05/2021 06:51

I’m almost 2 weeks post Pfizer and slowly getting my energy back. I had headaches for the first week that gradually got better and I’m able to do more now without getting tired. I still don’t feel as active as I did but going through a depressive episode which could account for that.

justanotherneighinparadise · 27/05/2021 06:55

I don’t think I had any side effects. I did have some super emotional episodes the night of the jab and the day after but that could just be me being me 🤦🏻‍♀️

Juliepops05 · 27/05/2021 19:22

I am 40 and I had the first Pfizer shot 10 days ago. My arm was sore and I had muscle pains for the first 48hours but nothing major. The fourth day following the vaccination, my legs started to go numb (not both at the same time) and felt really cold to the point that I needed a hot water bottle! Then my hands started doing the same thing. Feeling really tired too. GP has given me blood tests to get done so I guess we'll see 🤷‍♀️ but he thinks it is a normal reaction to the vaccine. Everyone else I know in my age group whose gotten the Pfizer vaccine had no reaction so I am slightly worried

TuvoknotSpock · 27/05/2021 21:07

Oh interesting.
Day 1 had vaccine early evening.
Day 2 sore, achy calves, followed by achy everything and went to bed same time as toddlers.
Day 3, better, didn't do much
Day 4 - brain fog!
Day 5 swollen nose (like when you have s cold) but feel fine apart from that

Achy arm too obvs. Also felt similar with this year's flu jab

Also felt cold too but feel warmer now

TuvoknotSpock · 27/05/2021 21:07

I wondered if it was just me!

RuleWithAWoodenFoot · 27/05/2021 22:37

I had no effects from the first jab.

Second jab was different. 2 weeks ago, I've been ill since. First day was fine, then the headache arrived. Headache and general blurgh-ness for a week, then got a stinking cold with loads of snot, sore throat then a cough the last few days. Headache pretty much the whole time. I'm not a painkiller taker, but have taken them lots. I wondered if the vaccine lowered my immune system, leaving me open to the shitty cold going round school. I normally wouldn't catch it.

Could also just be the end of term. Who knows.
