Shitty weather. Can't remember the last day without rain. People going back into restrictions. Countries having new waves. I know it will end but it feels such a trudge.

I feel the same and to top it all off I've got an hour and half appointment at the dentist this afternoon so that's about it for me personally!

On the plus side, brighter weather is on the horizon and my local papers are reporting our hospitals are (currently) covid free

I'm ignoring news where I can and just watching figures for deaths and hospitalisations. Both are very very low. The rest is just noise now as far as I'm concerned.

This. Deaths and hospitalizations are, to me, the real things that matter, as well as long covid.

As for the rest.....this is endemic. Nothing to see. Move on.

Totally agree with this

I started trying to focus more on data rather than the media spin some time ago.

The data for the vast majority of the country just doesn't match the media spin and pessimism constantly being pedalled out.
I hope it's all just stalling and trying to buy complience and "encourage" low risk people to take up vaccination.

I realised in the winter after a tough autumn that I wasn't going to bounce back to a normal emotional balance, but it's tougher than I expected.

Op nicer weather is forecast at the weekend so look forward to that.

Everywhere is open, we can meet indoors and as pp say hospitalisations and deaths are low.

Doesn't feel never ending at all.
