No vaccination card?

I’ve just been reading a thread where people were talking about getting a vaccination card. I didn’t receive one—has anyone else had this? It could be because I’m in Scotland?

Scotland doesn’t issue cards, OP - they are too easy to forge. The details of both your vaccinations are held on the NHS database instead.

The type of card given out at vaccination in England is not intended as proof of vaccination, more intended for your personal information, with Name and/or NHS number, name of vaccine and batch number.

There is no need to forge it at all.

I had a card yonks ago. My surgery nurse then found out it had been incorrectly filled out Smile

Yup, the England one was more like an appointment card but with the batch number info too.

Does NHS Scotland have an app like the English one? I believe that peoples vaccination details are on there after a couple of days.

No there's no app or vaccination card in Scotland. There is a link to get a certificate of vaccination status using the unique user name that is on your appointment letter. I'll see if I can find it

I thought they were just a reminder of which vaccine you'd had and don't forget the second dose, rather than proof of vaccination. Mine doesn't have my name on it, it just has the date and batch number.

vacs.nhs.scot/csp?id=csm_login

This is what the certificate in the link looks like
