How long after exposure?

Hello,

My son and daughter tested positive for covid on monday. How long would it normally be for someone else to get it who has been in close contact or how long until I could say I didn't get it after their test? I'm so scared. Son appears to be asymptomatic and daughter has the cough

The incubation period is up to around 14 days although most people would develop symptoms earlier than that if they were to get symptomatic covid.

Usually 10 days that’s why It’s 10 days isolate.
In my household dh on day 6 of isolation and I was about day 12 so it depends .
