Do you think failure to curb b16172 variant in England is due to failure of test and trace? I know people complaining about allowing foreign travel but some people need to travel for very valid reasons ( visiting family, work)
According to amber control system only person travelled needs to quarantine, not the family members of the household. Could the virus have spread through asymptomatic transfer between family members and community and failure of the system to track it ? And average turn around time for testing is 48 hours. If the person is asymptomatic their family members will continue their normal activities infecting other people.
Will such risk be avoided if whole household self Isolates?
