Second AZ jab side effects

Help please!!
I am due my second AZ jab.
Anyone out there who had weeks of headaches after first jab and were brave enough to go for the second jab?
Did you have headaches with the second jab too?

I didn't have headaches but was quite fluey for a few hours after the first jab. I mentioned this to the vaccinator when I had the second jab and she said I might have a headache for a day or two after the second.

I had absolutely no side effects at all after the second. AZ.

Out of sorts with various odd symptoms for 10 days after first AZ, second jab 2 days ago - absolutely fine, no probs at all, not even soreness at the injection site.

I was ill for 2-3 days after first, but nothing with second. That is common.

Trying to find out how many people get no side effects after the second AZ jab, so far it looks reassuring, thank you.

I feel the second jab will be kill or cure lol.
My weeks of headaches from the first jab are finally subsiding, and I am pondering over the second jab because either

  1. the jab may start the headaches off badly all over again or
  2. I may get no side effects, no headaches.

Had mine yesterday.
Was really rough after jab 1, high temp, fever, headache , muscle pain, lasted a couple of days
2nd jab yesterday nothing at all, not even a sore arm

I felt awful for a few days after the first (I spent the next day in bed in my PJs which isn't like me at all) , but was fine after the 2nd. Had a slight headache for a day or two but could have been stress related as well

Felt terrible for 4-5 days after first jab.
Felt fine after 2nd, no side effects at all!

Fluey for around 36hrs after first jab, weak arm and mild headaches for a week, second jab no side effects at all other than a slightly bruised injection site.

I had nothing at all after jab 1 and didn't feel too great after jab 2. Had a sore arm for about 6 days.

I've heard it said that if you had side effects after 1 you're less likely to get them with 2 and vice versa. How true that is, I don't know, but it worked for me.

I was really ill with flu type symptoms after the first. With the second, absolutely nothing. I checked my arm to see if there was a mark from the needle as I just couldn't believe that I had no symptoms.

I had a headache that had me in bed for a few days along with the shivers and fevers etc, then a bad headache for a few weeks that impacted my day to day life and then low level headaches for a while after that. The thought of going through that again terrified me and even as I pulled into the car park for my second jab I want to turn and run. I did it though and the volunteers and staff were very reassuring about my nerves.

I had the second a few weeks ago now and there's been no headaches or strong unpleasant side effects. A mildly stiff arm like you get when you've carried heavy bags or something by and that was it.

I lost a day after my first and have my second, tomorrow. Have a fridge full of very easy meals on order, just in case I'm unlucky.

In contrast, Ds1 has his second Pfizer, tonight, after no side effects at all, the first time, 8 weeks ago. I'm not expecting it to be pretty.

Just had my second this morning. So relieved to hear that the second seems better (was feeling quite rubbish after the first). The people at the vaccination centre said that the second often was worse though Confused?

Hoping that it will be ok. Am hosting a play date this afternoon 🤞

This is reassuring - I felt terrible after the first one but it looks like a lot of people feel ok after the second.

Guess I am ok-ish. I took paracetamol yesterday preemptively to host the play date. Felt rubbish when it wore off but no temperature this time.

Woke up at 5am with an “almost headache” and just not myself. Trying to decide if paracetamol would make it better...

Had second AZ yesterday, no side effects at all apart from a metallic taste for 2 hours afterwards.
