Has anyone had a vaccine here recently? Wondering if they are giving Pfizer or Moderna?

From what I have seen locally most people have had Moderna there, but I saw someone on a local Facebook group say they had Pfizer yesterday

DH had his first one the other week there and got Moderna

I’m going on an hour - I’ll let you know what’s there today! I know two people who’ve had Moderna there, but I think there was more than one there because they were asked questions to help them decide which to give.

I had Moderna, I don’t think they’re doing Astra Zeneca because they told me they get all the pregnant, breastfeeding and TTC people there. Are you going today?

Just got back - I had the Moderna too I’m breastfeeding but they didn’t know that until I was about to get the vaccine so they were giving everyone the same. Seems a good set up there.

Yeah, it is good. I was impressed with the shop and coffee cart outside too!

@GiveMeGin I’ve got mine there tomorrow… I haven’t received a confirmation text, just the booking confirmation online when I filled out the form via the link given in the text. Did you get a separate text confirming your booking?

I did get a text, but as long as you can show your booking confirmation number then you don’t need it. Did you get an email instead? I put my mobile and email in the form, but only got a text.

@Catcheronthesly thanks for your reply! I checked my booking again online this evening and it’s still showing as active for tomorrow so I guess I’ll have to hope that’s enough?! I’ve taken some screen shots. Pretty sure I gave them all my various contact details as didn’t want to miss any vital info…

It is, I just read out my booking confirmation number so they never saw it. It’s also quicker if you have ID, but it’s not essential.

Sorry @Fi1982 I’ve only just seen your message. Yes I got a text but like Catcheronthesly I only needed to read out the booking reference. They asked if I had ID when I arrived but as it had only asked me to take the booking reference and a face covering I didn’t have any ID with me and it was fine. Hope it goes/has gone well.

Thanks for the replies everyone - I’m all jabbed! Booking ref and driving license were sufficient. Moderna today too, I think there were two queues, everyone in mine looked below 40 and the other queue had some older people, so possibly running an AZ line too?

V well organised and my jabber and administrator were both lovely 😊 just a bit of a sore arm now, but possibly calm before the storm..!
