Would you do a LFT

Over the weekend my partner has been tired, we just thought it was due to DS not sleeping very well. He went to work today and he's just got back and he told me he still feels tired and he's got a headache and he feels 'weird'. He doesn't have any of the main symptoms so would you do a LFT?

Yes

It doesn’t hurt does it
Allegedly we’re all supposed to be doing them twice a week anyway

A headache is considered a symptom as is fatigue on the Zoe app ..He needs to do a PCR test .. I didn’t have any of the three main symptoms when I had covid .. at least not for the first ten days

Would he be eligible for a pcr though if he doesn't have any of the main symptoms?

Yes that's all the symptoms my son and friends had in their university house all were positive

SmileyClare · 17/05/2021 18:05

If you have LF tests at home, you may as well test the whole family.

And take dh's temperature if you have the means to? Of course there are many possible reasons for him feeling under the weather but covid has to be ruled out. Hope all is well.

I would because they are free, we all get 2 a week if we want and it's important to isolate if it's positive.

But if it's positive I'd also make sure you book a pace test ASAP.

Unfortunately the three main symptoms list is very limiting - given that a lot of people don’t present with those symptoms I would just click yes to the question . I know lots of people who have had covid now who tested negative with LFT tests but tested positive with pcrs who felt they could just explain away their symptoms .

I literally always have a headache and feel fatigued Confused

But yeah get a test. Why not. Better to be safe !
