How was it originally booked, in England? Through the central booking line, GP hub? If the former you should just be able to log in and change it.

If its an online booking you can go back with your refernce and change it

They booked it when I attended and I have just received a text which delays it by 4 days (now is the day before I go away on a course with work)

I have only been notified this by text

The course is in London so involves travelling the day after the jab which if it was the same as last time I won't be able to do.

Thanks for the replies - the course is booked well in advance and is public sector funded so I would not want to miss it as it costs a fortune

You can change it online even if it’s GP booked, I’ve changed mine and my husbands. Just use manage my booking.

But was it through the national booking system or a GP hub system? If the former call 119, the latter your GP.

A friend of mine has just had a similar issue. She could not attend the location of her 2nd appointment. She ended up cancelling and rebooking to a different location.
She said she did it on the NHS website.

summerinthecity21 · 16/05/2021 18:31

You can do it on the website but you have to cancel the other one first- you can't just change it.

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 16/05/2021 18:32

I have just tried to change my appointment after receiving a text. I went in under Manage your booking, but it isn't giving me any options to change it. Am I missing something?

summerinthecity21 · 16/05/2021 18:36

You have to cancel the other one first- you cant just change it. But thats on the main nhs booking site. If it's a GPs booking service it may be different.

BradleyCooperwillbemine · 16/05/2021 18:58

Thanks for that. I have just looked on another thread which said the same as you. I don't know whether to risk it, as my appointment is in 2 weeks time. Might just keep it.

Suranjeep · 16/05/2021 19:05

If you want to change the second one but not the first you either have to cancel both, or wait to have the first then cancel/re-arrnage the second after
