Hi everyone. I’ve just joined to get some advice as I’m getting worried!
I decided to come off the pill (cerazette) at the end of last year. My periods returned within a couple of months and all was back to normal until Jan. periods then stopped. I started bleeding heavily on 27th April and am now on Day 15 😔
I usually have a heavy period but this is excessive. I went for blood tests a couple of weeks ago due to pain in lower left side and full blood count was fine but a few others showed raised infection levels. Had them redone yesterday and infection levels are even higher. Doc has now referred me for a colonoscopy (was having bowel issues also) and an internal once bleeding stops. I’m stressing out in case it’s something sinister.
I’ve also read that the COVID vaccine can affect menstrual cycles and had my 2nd jab on Sat. Sorry this is super long but would love some advice.
