June 83 and just booked, husband wasn't eligble (May 83) but has now booked. Tomorrow, wasn't expecting so soon! No mention of choosing vaccine, do we just assume they only give us the choice of venues with the correct vaccine? I'm at a Pharmacy2U site if anyone knows.

BBC news website saying booking site for 38 and 39 years olds will open at 7am tomorrow and they will receive text messages as well

Nov 82 too and it just let me book for Friday! Central/north London. Husband a few weeks younger and it won't let him book yet

It was a bit tricky to find an appointment, I wasn't able to book at my local hub which was doing AZ last week (my DP had his there), it said no appts available - the closest available appointments were a bit further away, (Robertson House in Stevenage, which I've heard is doing Moderna) - so it did look to me that I wasn't offered anywhere that gives AZ, but don't hold me to that! I'm actually happy to have any vaccine.

So pleased to be finally booked!

How do we make sure we go to a venue where they are likely to have the alternatives to AZ? Does it just not let you book for those sites?

I'm guessing that's the case Dixon yes, it didn't come up with my nearest vaccine centre, but the next closest by, I'm wondering if that's why

@DixonD I'm interested to know this too, there was no mention on the site. Mine is booked for tomorrow so not too long to wait and find out.

Report back and let us know how you get on. I’ve not booked yet as I want to make sure I go somewhere with the other vaccines. I know my very nearest one doesn’t, but it hasn’t come up on my list anyway.

I haven had any confirmation yet either and booked an hour ago. I did a screenshot too after reading the advice on here!

My confirmation took about 5 hours to come through so there's definitely a delay! I think it looks like I'm getting Pfizer but will update tomorrow!
