Letting me in now! Presumably it only shows Pfizer/Moderna options? I didn't get the 'are you pregnant' question.

RevolvingPivot · 19/05/2021 16:31

I'm 1984 I have been phoning the doctors. I didn't realise I could book online.

springhasalmostsprung · 19/05/2021 16:36

Yeah pretty sure AZ only clinics don't show. Our nearest centre hasn't been on the list for DH or myself at all and I can only assume it's na raise they only have AZ

ferretface · 19/05/2021 16:53

Managed to book for the same days as my husband, big hospital hub in London, different vaccination centres but i don't suppose it matters as their guidance says if you're under 40 you'll be only offered Pfizer/Moderna.

Bring on the dead arm! :)

SpikeDearheart · 19/05/2021 17:00

Haven't RTWFT but has anyone else been unable to book their first appointment because their are no slots for the second one? So frustrating!

freedles · 19/05/2021 17:02

I’m 35 in June and managed to get a vaccine booked for next Friday! It wouldn’t let me do it this morning but I got lucky just now. Husband is 35 after July and can’t book yet.

freedles · 19/05/2021 17:03

Spikeheart this happened to me so I went back a screen and said I’d like my second vaccine at a different location and then it gave me alternatives with availability for the second jab.

SpikeDearheart · 19/05/2021 17:04

Thanks freedles, unfortunately when I do that the nearest centre is 60 miles away!

MsP83 · 19/05/2021 17:04

Sept 85 in London and can now finally book!

springhasalmostsprung · 19/05/2021 17:06

@SpikeDearheart yeah I can't get a second at the same place at the moment, and the next nearest is an hour away so I'm reluctant to book that. Just hoping the nearer one releases more appointments ASAP!

freedles · 19/05/2021 17:07

Oh how frustrating for you both! I hope something comes up soon. I guess you could always book, go for your first jab and then try to get a cancellation but obviously not ideal as you run the risk of not getting lucky.

SpikeDearheart · 19/05/2021 17:19

I know, it's a bit too much of a gamble for me I think Confused

springhasalmostsprung · 19/05/2021 17:21

@freedles yeah, if I can't get one at the nearer one in the next couple of days I'll have to do that. It's not that the drive is bad, just frustrating to know there is a nearer one

SpikeDearheart · 19/05/2021 17:25

It is frustrating isn't it @springhasalmostsprung I live in a major city, not the arse end of nowhere, it seems mad there are no appointments in 8-12 weeks closer than 60 miles!

shalalala · 19/05/2021 17:37

Does anyone know how long it tends to take from booking open to a procare text coming through? I can book from today (35) but hardly any sites nearby available so wondering whether to wait until procare

HarrietOh · 19/05/2021 17:40

I’m 34 and it’s letting me book! Sadly no slots available. I’m 35 next month so assuming that’s why.

springhasalmostsprung · 19/05/2021 17:40

@SpikeDearheart I'm in a small town so I didn't expect one on my doorstep, but I know people who've had them through work etc who've had them in either of the next door towns 20 minutes away. The one I can book my first at is about 25/30 mins away and I'm okay with that, but an hour is pushing it!
@shalalala I don't even know what procare is!

Rchyt · 19/05/2021 17:41

March 86 and just been able to book - East Cambs.

MapleBee · 19/05/2021 17:44

Only options are miles away so I can't book. Very annoyed. When do they release new ones?

springhasalmostsprung · 19/05/2021 17:45

@MapleBee there doesn't seem to be a set time as far as I can tell. Which is annoying

YourSexNotGenderIsOnFire · 19/05/2021 17:46

Just booked a vaccine for tomorrow. Age 35 (late 1985). I found the booking process very difficult as I don't have a car and there is only one vaccination centre in my city. It would sometimes show that they had slots but they would disappear before I could book them. But after about an hour of trying I have succeeded!

YourSexNotGenderIsOnFire · 19/05/2021 17:47

@MapleBee just keep hitting refresh! Worked for me.

Sweettea1 · 19/05/2021 18:03

@jessetta28 same for me yesterday but worked today so try again tomorrow.

RC000 · 19/05/2021 18:30

@runwayqueen yes

onemorenumber · 19/05/2021 19:44

I only got asked about whether I'd had or was planning to have a flu jab. Have booked for a hospital - no idea what I'll get, just deliriously happy that I have booked my appointments! Whoop whoop!
