@Sunny360 DH never received confirmation for his booking that he made yesterday, but he has just had his vaccine, you only need the booking reference number.

Sunny360 · 13/05/2021 14:47

That’s good to know @usernotfound0000 !

Coffee4Queen · 13/05/2021 14:56

@Sunny360

I still haven’t had any email/text confirmation through for the booking I made at half 4 yesterday (for tomorrow). Took screenshots of the reference numbers and details though anyway
I didn’t get a text or email other so don’t worry. As long as you have your booking reference you’re good.
Derbee · 13/05/2021 15:00
  1. Got a text from GP surgery 2 days ago inviting me to book my Pfizer vaccine. Went today, and got the Pfizer jab
pitterpatterrain · 13/05/2021 15:39

Just got jabbed, Battersea Arts Centre - all Pfizer

whatswithtodaytoday · 13/05/2021 15:48

Arrgh I didn't screenshot my booking reference number, only the date and time - do you think I'll be ok? Mine isn't till Sunday so I guess there's a chance it'll show up via email, but it's been over 24 hours.

usernotfound0000 · 13/05/2021 15:53

@whatswithtodaytoday if it hasn't come through by then, I believe 119 can give you it. You will need the booking reference though.

Silversun83 · 13/05/2021 15:55

@whatswithtodaytoday Or is it on manage your bookings on the NHS site?

Sunny360 · 13/05/2021 15:56

I think you need the actual booking reference to be able to log on to manage my bookings. I was thinking that would be awkward for anyone who hadn’t taken a screen shot!

Silversun83 · 13/05/2021 15:56

@whatswithtodaytoday Ignore me, you need the reference number to actually access that! 🤦‍♀️

LilacLily91 · 13/05/2021 16:02

34 (1987) and just manage to book via the website

BernardsarenotalwaysSaints · 13/05/2021 16:17

Had a text from my gp surgery while I was on the school run inviting to book so I've got an appointment at the local hospital for Monday (booked through the local system, not the national one) South Warks, late '88

Newname9 · 13/05/2021 16:22

Really LilacLily? That's great news - just checked and I still can't - 1983

WaitingForNormality · 13/05/2021 16:25

I'm 32 and desperate to get it soon - going in for a c section in 3 weeks and really would like to be jabbed a week or so beforehand. I know it takes 3 weeks to take effect but even some small protection in the immediate aftermath of the surgery would make me feel less panicky!

Checked the website and obvs it said no! Not sure why I even bothered!

LilacLily91 · 13/05/2021 16:29

Yep I was surprised as I was just trying to check what info I would need to make sure I could do it quickly when my age opened up, but instead of saying I didn't qualify it gave me dates to book (this weekend).

My bmi is over 40 but I dont think it is on my gp records as I didn't get an invite previously.

Yorkshire based in case it is due to the area.

MrsWhites · 13/05/2021 16:34

1984 and still can’t book online. Maybe they’ll extend further into the 30’s over the weekend?

2orangey · 13/05/2021 16:55

38 years old here, Greater Manchester, just received a text telling me to book. Booked in at a pharmacy, no mention of whether non-AZ options will be available. No confirmation email yet so I made a note of the reference numbers.

Goatsdorhone · 13/05/2021 17:01

Just heard on the news that all over 18s will be offered vaccine in parts of Lancashire due to spike in cases there.

whatswithtodaytoday · 13/05/2021 17:41

@Silversun83 Thanks for that tip! I had managed to screenshot the bottom half of my second booking reference so used that to get in and get my first one 😁

frizzyandfrazzled · 13/05/2021 18:12

36 and just offered booking for next week through GP. North lancs. Absolutely delighted. Not sure which I'll get but I'm ok with that 🙂

letsgetbackto2019 · 13/05/2021 18:17

So my strategy worked - for the North-Westerners, the Alderley Park centre in Macclesfield is offering Pfizer. Got it this morning. Just some pain in the arm so far Smile

They have now been told off by the government and will no longer happen Hmm
LemonViolet · 13/05/2021 19:06

I’m 38 and got a text yesterday from my GP inviting me for a Pfizer, click on this link to book - no appointments available (I was holding my phone when the invite came and I clicked straight away!). It says check back daily, I’ve probably checked back a dozen times since and zilch. At the same time the national NHS site lets me through but the nearest sites all say no appointments available. I keep going back on, at one point my local centre did have dates but it then errored and disappeared.

How often is it worth checking back on each system? When are new appointments added?

Mufflete · 13/05/2021 19:56

For anyone concerned that the smaller centres would still have AZ, I've just had my jab at my tiny local pharmacy and had Pfizer. Booked yesterday, I'm 37.

namechanged984630 · 13/05/2021 20:05

@BernardsarenotalwaysSaints we went to bromsgrove today! It is Pfizer
