2nd AZ jab after 7 weeks

I've just had a text saying I can book my 2nd AZ jab this weekend but it's only been 7 weeks since my first.

I'm thinking I should wait another few weeks but what do you think?

Personally with AZ I would wait until 8 weeks. Give those antibodies an extra 7 days to buildGrin

8 to 12 seems to be repeated by the experts a lot. Can't imagine it is a dramatic difference though.

I was called up for mine after 7 weeks and took my gp advice and had it, worried I should have waited but having asked around lots were having it around 9 weeks. Maybe ask your gp and go from there?

That's just it. I was happy to take it at any point from 8 weeks onwards. That extra week has confused me. They're just using up spare doses

I've got my 2nd with a gap of 9 weeks. Everyone I know who had az are getting them at 9 weeks through our gp.

Thanks all, I've decided to go for it. There are only 4 days between now and 8 weeks so I can't imagine it'll make much difference

Mine was 7 1/2 weeks too - I think you’ve made right decision x good luck
