Walk in test centres - how long is wait for results

Sorry if this has been done loads already but I couldn't find anything recent. Took dd yesterday at 9am and having to keep all of them off school in the meantime. Thanks

North east. We went to our appointment at 11am and had the text result same day by 6pm. Was advised 24 hours max to hear back.

Usually between 24-48 hours.

Ours advise 24 to 48 hours but in reality they are usually back about 12 hours later. If you took your dd first thing then there will be a mid morning run to the lab and then another run at teatime.

Both times I’ve been into the centres I’ve had results in just shy of 24 hours.

DC had a test at walk in last week, was about 20 hours for results.

I did it yesterday too and still nothing ☹️
It was back by this time last time we did one ☹️

I got me and my child done yesterday and my child's is back but mine isn't?!

There should be freephone number on your test receipt card.

I've rang 119 but they just say wait till Saturday morning as still within time frame

If my child is negative then I've got to be too anyway! I'm sure it's just a normal cough I just got a test cos you've got to

I took my son at 8am yesterday morning and got his results back at about midday today - negative thankfully
