If it's two weeks before, that's today, but doesn't seem there's a planned press conference? Or is there?

I've been wondering this too. Are we back to muddling through and making assumptions about what they mean?

ParadiseLaundry · 03/05/2021 06:58

On the 5th May I heard.

The road map was always for announcements re next stages to be made one week in advance.

www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-response-spring-2021/covid-19-response-spring-2021-summary

"There will be a minimum of five weeks between each step: four weeks for the scientific data to reflect the changes in restrictions and to be analysed; followed by one week’s advance notice of the restrictions that will be eased."

StealthPolarBear · 03/05/2021 07:13

Great thanks. Presumably today might be the days they're reviewing the situation.

UnmentionedElephantDildo · 03/05/2021 07:15

I think it's formally one week's notice, but in practice they do it a bit earlier when they're saying 'yes it's happening'

BelleBlueBell · 03/05/2021 07:18

Ima expecting next Monday in line with what they said at the start of the easing although the funeral changes have been announced early
