My husband is 40 and has managed to book one online

I booked upthread, for a national hub for next Tues but now been offered a very local one for next Thurs (am 43). I’ve booked the local one but not yet cancelled the national as weighing up the 2 days earlier vs distance. With the local one you don’t get your second jab booked though.

Will cancel one appointment in the next couple of hours, just mulling it over first as it doesn’t feel like an easy decision. I’m desperate to have it but it’s a return trip distance of 40 miles.

BTW I was offered the local one by text.

@Lalalablahblahblah I’m guessing they are adding two years down to end of June 81, based on what it is currently and people who say they have booked, but it doesn’t hurt to try!

Just checked and no luck for July 82 although I dont expect them to have released that far yet

No luck for me yet at age 41 (March 1980)

Friend of mine (Sept 79) has been checking several times a day and was finally able to book at 4pm ish today.

Sept 81 - not eligible.

17 .46 still not eligible despite being 41 July .

A online freind near Leicester posted on her fb there's drop in no appointment needed for over 30s.
Real postcode lottery in the UK.

There could be something in that, my surname is early in the alphabet and I was able to book. I'm in London and was able to book for next Thursday at Guy's.

Its odd must be based postcode. Surname b mid July 1980
