DH is 44 and was able to book online just now.

AfternoonToffee · 26/04/2021 08:00

Great news. I was talking to my older sister yesterday who is 44 about her getting hers so really good that it looks like she can book it now, especially as a secondary /A-level teacher.

WarriorN · 26/04/2021 10:00

Yes, all 44s found they could magically book last Thursday...

Glitterblue · 26/04/2021 10:26

I'm 44 and had mine last week following a text from my GP - but have just had a text this morning saying I can go online and book!

SlipperyLizard · 26/04/2021 11:16

As a 43 year old I’m cross that they’re now going down one year at a time! But not long now ...

BunsyGirl · 26/04/2021 11:18

44 by 1 July so some 43’s can book now.

idontlikealdi · 26/04/2021 11:19

I'm 42 and got a text on Friday, DH is 43 and he got a text the day before. I couldn't book through the main system but had a specific code to book through for the vaccination hub.

We're in London.

Mablefly · 26/04/2021 12:06

Make sure you check the NHS vaccine booking site regularly. 44 year olds were able to book last Thursday (I had mine the day after!) it's likely that 43 year olds will be able to book well before it's announced on the news.

I’ve been checking regularly and it has paid off - have just booked mine for later this week.

43 yr olds get booking!

RaspberryCoulis · 26/04/2021 14:45

Unless you live in Scotland - don't hold your breath waiting for the blue envelope from Queen Nicola. 48 and 49 year olds being done at the moment only.

SlipperyLizard · 26/04/2021 15:37

Oh no that stinks - it also varies a lot by area in England, plenty of younger people have already had it via their GP (rather than the central service) where my sister lives.

Cailleach · 26/04/2021 15:43

I am 44 and had mine three weeks ago, nearly! There's such a variation between areas...

RaspberryCoulis · 26/04/2021 23:45

Your name is inappropriate @Cailleach you're just a youngster.....

Are you in a rural area or on an island? I know they've been rolling out quicker as they can squeeze more people in on one visit to a more remote area.

Torvean · 26/04/2021 23:56

I agree @RaspberryCoulis. The Scottish roll out is so ridiculously slow. Except if you're an Islander.
I signed up for a trial which I've been in since October. I will have had both jabs by Wednesday.

I honestly thought I'd be called for at least my first nhs one before this.

Cailleach · 27/04/2021 04:34

@RaspberryCoulis I dunno, I've a lot of missing teeth and grey hair these days!

Anyway no, not rural or remote or on an island...unless you mean Britain in general!

DDiva · 27/04/2021 06:54

42 here and booked for next week via the website. I'm down on SE coast. I had heard others locally were being called and booking online before the national groups were announced, so we must be doing well locally.

I would recommend anyone just keep checking regularly.

Peachylovesherpoochy · 27/04/2021 06:59

Am in London and could only book yesterday from about 9.30am (44) I did check it when I read the news at 6am but the NHS app said I still wasn’t eligible, so there seems to be a lot of variation nationally. Saying that, I am booked for 9am this morning and the my 2nd jab exactly 12 weeks after so am delighted!

BunsyGirl · 27/04/2021 07:12

It’s now 42 or 42 before 1 July.
