Got a text saying I e cancelled my second jab

I went for my first vaccine today, when I got home I decided to try to reschedule my second one (which is in July, booked online at same time as first). I got as far as entering my NHS number, DOB and then selecting a venue and I quit deciding to do it later.
Then I got a text saying I'd cancelled my first! How??!? My husband got the same text cancelling his, (we both went for our first today.)
Has anyone else had this happen?

I rang 119 and after over 10 minutes finally spoke to someone who said through the crackliest line ever that there was a problem with their phones and to call back if I couldn't hear!
I rebooked both appointments online, got a second one in July again but now have an extra "first" appointment this weekend which I'm afraid to cancel in case it wipes out my second one again !!

I think I read that you shouldn't log in on the same day as you had your first jab because it takes the system some time to update. Try logging in again tomorrow.

It doesn't realise that you attended today because it hasn't updated yet.

Oh dear. I will try tomorrow and see what I've done. No idea why my husband got a cancellation text too though, he wasn't faffing about with his appointments! 😕

Exactly the same happened to me. I'd originally booked my second for a centre 30 miles away (which would've involved travelling for three hours on four different buses) as there was nothing more local available. Almost immediately after my first I started to feel ropey and was worried about all that travelling if I felt the same after my second so I went online to see if local spots had become available. As soon as I logged on I got the same text and it automatically cancelled my second appointment. Called 119 and they told me to system takes 24 hours to update after your first jab and to try again the next day. I did, and immediately got a new appointment for my local vaccination centre

I had a problem with the site yesterday when I was trying to cancel.my second appointment, kept getting an error message & then had a text to say it had been cancelled.
