Palpitations after Pfizer

I had my second Pfizer jab on 15/4
On the next day I had a very painful arm and was extra tired.
Today 18/4 I am experiencing heart palpitations. I use an oximeter and my stats are 93-98. My pulse rate is normally in the high seventies but today it is jumping about between 92 and 109. I feel a bit light headed. Do I need to do anything or just rest for a bit. I am 77.

I think you should call 111 for advice to be on the safe side as I do t think these are common side effects.

These are listed as rare side effects, but to be cautious it would be best to see a doctor. You can call 111 to get seen as soon as possible. Make sure it's listed on the yellow card scheme as that tracks how many get the side effects.

Everything calmed down after a couple of hours but I will ring 111 if it comes back. At the moment I feel fine. Thanks so much for your help.

@thegreylady I know this is few weeks old, I just came across this thread and was wondering how you are now feeling?

I had the AZ vaccine and from 24 after I have experienced what feels like continuous palpitations. I did see a Dr yesterday who checked me over and I had an ECG as well. She reassured me everything is fine. However as you can probably understand the palpitations are so disconcerting yet I've not been able to find much on the internet relating them to the vaccine.
