Ok, so I've had my two vaccines - family doctor had spares so queue jumped slightly but in older age bracket and with 2 immune compromised conditions.

Since then I've had no immediate side effects but my head felt awful, very cloudy and hard to think straight, bit of depression, dry mouth etc - saw my DM yday and exactly the same symptoms!

Anyone else getting these?

Mmm, no. Only had one dose though.

whippitwoowoo · 12/04/2021 15:09

No. Ive been fine after both. I work in a vac clinic and did 2 nd dose for Pfizer and lots of people said they felt off after the first dose.

Motorina · 12/04/2021 15:59

Nope. Had the classic flu-like symptoms, worse after dose 1 than 2, which resolved rapidly.

If this isn't better within a day or two of the jab I'd suggest contacting your GP and filling in a yellow card.

it's clearing up now. but definitely wasn't immediately afterwards and seemed to occur more like a week or so later.

I thought I was imagining it then spoke to my mum and someone else and all 3 of us have similar symptoms.

I had my second pfizer last saturday and feel worse than after the first one.

After the first one I had pain like a pulled muscle in my armpit which lasted about a week. Apart from that I felt fine.

After this second one, again I have the muscle pain, but also swollen glands in my armpit, fuzzy headache and for the first day on and off heavy limbs and lethargy.

Feel ok today apart from the armpit glands.

I’m sure covid would be worse so I am thankful to get my vaccination.

Interestingly I have only just “recovered” from a very strange head pressure type headache. I would say tension but not quite. Dull, enough to annoy me but not enough to call it painful. Foggy too. It lasted about 8 days and it started out with weird sharp jabbing pains in random parts of my scalp, almost a nerve issue.

I had my first Pfizer dose end of Feb. I don’t know if they’re related but I’ve never experienced anything like it before.

I agree re I'm pleased I was vaccinated. But I wish more was told about the symptoms as literally just getting over them now.

2nd Pfizer last Thursday, had swollen lumpy arm and felt lethargic, spaced out for 3 days then back to normal. I could hardly stay awake. I had no reaction to 1st.

Just found this thread. Could t work out why my mouth was so dry and feeling a bit woozy etc . Same as you re timings of the effects. I'm wondering if it really is the Pfizer or if I've just picked something up from the kids.....
NotSoLongGoodbye · 30/06/2021 12:39

I had fuzzy head and intermittent headaches after both pfizer. Felt a bit like a hangover. Plus horribly sore arm and slight swelling at injection site. 2nd dose had way more side effects for me

Yes, exactly my experience after my first jab - after a few days I had real trouble concentrating through a cloud of fog, and felt generally lethargic and slow. It's gotten better without a doubt.

I have 3 kids including a toddler who is sleeping badly, so I'm generally tired but this was another level.
