How effective against the P1 variant are our current vaccines?
Should we be worried?
There's so much conflicting advice out there.

They don’t know, officially. Brazil is a disaster though so for them it’s as bad as it can get which must be terrible.

If it shows to have taken hold here then we have a problem and our roadmap would no doubt be paused indefinitely.

If the booster vaccines in the autumn can be tweaked to compensate for this mutation then it’s not a total disaster. However Our Achilles heel is the lack of vaccinated under 40s who may struggle with this as is the case in Brazil.
