Vaccine walk in

My husband has appointment for today which I am taking him to. Mine is in a week. I know they have no shows on the day but has anyone been vaccinated as a walk in?

I’m in England and went with my husband when they were doing over 60’s and they wouldn’t do me as I am 59. But when I had mine, a lady turned up with her letter from nhs and they fitted her in.
