Holiday abroad - are we covered?

We are booked to go to Greece in July (it's a holiday we had booked and moved many a time!) Anyway I am just guessing here but say Greece is allowed travel on Amber list when will be told of the costs for the many covid tests we will likely have to do it the news is right!? I'm just wondering if we are in any way covered to move our holiday or get a refund as we would still like to go but not if the cost is £100s more. I don't mind the quarantine at home part so much

I think most holiday insurance covers you if you have to cancel due to a positive Covid test, or being required to isolate because of one. I don't think it covers you if the UK government decides you need to isolate when you get back, even at a hotel. But check the small print of the insurance. Personally I won't book anything unless it can be cancelled or at least moved to another date at no cost up until pretty close to the dates of travel.

What do the terms say on your booking and travel insurance? It will depend on that.
