Delayed reaction to vaccine?

Hi, has anyone felt ill about 10 days after their Oxford vaccine? I am aching all over, headachey and generally feeling grim. Not sure if this is possible or I’ve just picked up something else. I tested at home yesterday and it was negative. Thanks

I felt dreadful 48 hours after having it for about 4 days. Then fine, but since then every now and again I feel rubbish, tired, headache, bit snotty etc for 3 or 4 days then okay for a couple of weeks.

Thank you for this. I guess it’s possible then. I’ve googled it but nothing has come up.

Yes I had mine 10 days so and keep feeling dizzy, tired and generally meh. Could be coincidence. Who can tell?

Obakarama · 03/04/2021 11:18

Ago not so.

Could be a coincidence. I felt fine after it until a few days ago. I feel absolutely exhausted and weak. So annoying with the gorgeous weather out there!

Same, I had my az vaccine last Friday and didn't have any bad side effects soon after like other on here have mentioned, I generally felt quite good apart from slight achey arm. Recently though I have developed a strange head aches and dizziness and just feel generally tired. Hoping it passes soon as its horrible feeling like this with two children to look after.

I had my vaccine at the end of Feb and my arm was painful and heavy for a few days, then I woke up fine. Today my arm aches, I have chills and feel rubbish. We have all tested negative.

I have not heard of a delayed reaction and nothing is coming up on Google.

I initially felt achey for about 24 hours after the vaccine. Then felt really well, but the last couple of days I have had a headache and aches again that feels like a lesser version of how I felt initially. I am 16 days post vaccine.

Had my vaccine 9 days ago, felt fluey from the middle of the following night and the next day. Then felt OK but then a week after the jab was suddenly really tired from around 6pm for 24 hours. And a headache. Fine today though. Hoping that's it!

Thanks everyone. It does look like it’s possible then. I’m hoping it doesn’t go into day three tomorrow. I’ve slept most of the day and still feel tired! I hope you all feel better soon. I feel like a very old stiff lady!

I know one person here has had a negative test, but still I'm wondering if some might actually have caught covid but are only having a vaccine suppressed version?

RampantIvy · 04/04/2021 08:35

No. The headache I have today was self induced Grin

WaterBottle123 · 04/04/2021 08:37

I had mine Wednesday, felt rough for 24 hours and am fine now except for feeling exhausted and occasionally lightheaded, nauseous and dizzy.

It must be the vaccine because I'm never, ever sick.
