Pzifer

Had my second Pzifer 4 weeks ago had the usual after effects but was fine
However this week went out for a walk and came out in blotches all over my face and chest just the areas that are exposed to the sun
I took a antihistimine when I got home & the rash went . I’ve now got this irrational idea in my head that the vaccine has done something to my immune system that’s causing an allergy to the sun

Highly unlikely four weeks after the vaccine. Most effects come on quickly

It might have been allergens in the air that only settled on exposed skin, not the sun, that you reacted to.

I think it's very unlikely to be vaccine-related.

I get sun sensitivity bi annually or every three years it can be a hot summer or a wet summer it makes no real difference and only started a few years ago (10? I think) its totally random but I just flare up in a blotchy rash and spend a few days scratching myself to bits before I get on top of it and cover up constantly

I agree it can’t be the vaccine , but I think my nerves are in tatters atm
The rash was like big blotches but not risen funny thing was my chest was itchy but not my face
I’ve never had allergies in my life but this worried me , maybe it’s my age & im starting to have allergies that I didn’t before

Sadly that can happen just take some antihistamine i used to live on an estate and didn't have hay-fever till I walked off it in a certain direction I was full on sneezing eye streaming coughing etc if I left in the opposite direction nothing 😅
