Anyone finding themselves tearful after jab?

Had AZ on Tuesday afternoon. Yesterday and today I've been welling up over anything and everything. Definitely not hormone related and I'm really not a crier usually. I just wondered if anyone else found this.

Actually yes, I did get tearful - and that’s out of character for me. I didn’t link it to the jab but now that you’ve mentioned it, it’s made me wonder.

It's a bit like the early days of pregnancy where even the andrex puppy would have me reaching for the tissues Smile

My goodness yes! I thought maybe this was just me as I'm being treated for depression right now but my mood was through the floor for a few days.

Yep. Yesterday I was so low. I had to have a right old word with myself!

No, but everyone I know who has had it has had loads of headaches

IpanemaNova · 01/04/2021 19:04

Yes I had this, really teary and depressed which is not like me. However I was also like this when I actually had covid, as was my nursing friend who is usually hard as nails!

Yes!!!!! Thought it was just me. Was really emotional for about 24hrs. What a weird side effect.

Thomasina2021 · 01/04/2021 19:09

My mum has had a twitching eye since having it

RoseWineTime · 01/04/2021 20:13

No I felt on top of the world and still do really. We are so lucky to have early access to these life saving vaccines Smile

Oversize · 01/04/2021 20:21

Absolutely agree with you Rose. I was excited to have mine and having a generally great day but then the following morning...Confused

Maybe its the relief . And after having to hold anxiety in for such a long time .. it wd be a pretty normal response?

baroqueandblue · 02/04/2021 20:32

I've just posted on another thread about my after-effects and depressed mood is one of the worst. On the other hand, the whole vaccine experience is a significant part of the narrative we've been living for more than a year now, and I'm pretty sure it must currently feel like an anticlimax to many people. That will get to some of us, sadly.
