I'm sorry if this has been posted a millipn times.
I had the AZ vaccine yesterday at 12pm. By 6pm I had started getting really shivery and felt frozen. Then I had pins and needles all over my body, everywhere.
Come to 10pm last night, I had a temp of 38.9. Managing to control it with pain relief.
I've woken up this morning, my whole body, especially my neck and around my ribs feel bruised and battered. They're so sore to touch. I have a headache. I am having hot flushes/sweats and ache all over. Got a little shivery whilst in the shower.
Has anyone else experienced this? Obviously it says in the leaflet to yellow card it and ring my GP but with being a weekend that's not doable. Though i have yellow carded it. Do I ring anyone else? I'm guessing it's just a case of riding it out.
Thank you

Yes I was exactly the same as you this week. It took 3 days to fully feel right, my temp went to 39.0 and had a rapid heartbeat as well.
Ride it out and keep your mind distracted, and sleep... :)

I had no symptoms but I think it said in the leaflet, if you did, to seek help after 3 days as it would then not be the vaccine making you ill.

I had it on Friday. I have a headache a Fever abs just been sick. I ache all over too.

That's very similar to me. I'm 24 hours ahead of you. I slept for most of yesterday. Paracetamol definitely helped. I've woken up today and I feel much better. I've no temperature and only feel a little bit achey. I didn't tell anyone as I think this is a fairly normal side effect of AZ. The Covid Zoe app says about 30% have a reaction and for most people it doesn't last for than 48 hours.

I had the vaccine on Friday and have had two nights of shivering, sweats, muscle and joint pain. The paracetamol is helping but the worst thing for me has been a really bad thirst that not even 1.5 litres of water has relieved. I’m hoping that eases off soon.

Thank you Neolara. I'm glad you're feeling better. Even struggling with wearing a bra, so I've sacked that off too!!!

Thats interesting Pushkinia, I'm drinking a lot of water and haven't felt thirst. Though I have lost my appetite! Hope you feel better soon.
