That they'll STOP announcing daily Covid deaths and cases on the news.

July 2021.Deaths wiĺl obviously happen like they do with other illnesses and we just won't hear about it daily.

starfish88 · 26/03/2021 02:42

I hope so. If they announced daily death totals for everything I'm sure everyone would be a wreck! When they keep saying 'one in 2 of us gets cancer in our liferime' on the su2c bake off I keep thinking what those figures must look like.

January 2022

I think we will go from daily to weekly updates around june time if things continue as they are but if cases and deaths start to raise again then it will continue as daily updates till spring 2022

PinkDaffodil2 · 26/03/2021 07:14

Stop June 2021, start again October 2021 maybe

Scottishgirl85 · 26/03/2021 07:17

They should stop now. Cancer deaths are higher at about 400 a day. Perhaps they should start announcing them daily so that people get the fear and stop eating crap/smoking, start exercising etc.

August 2021

GeorgeandHarold66 · 26/03/2021 07:22

I'd day drop down to weekly by June 21 in line with lifting restrictions then they'll stop all together in January 2022.

It is impossible to predict this, if we get a variant surge and deaths go back up, that'll get reported of course.

If we don't and deaths stay stable through autumn, we won't have them reported.

Lots of people seem very keen to not know what is happening, all part of the mental health fallout I guess, easier to try to hide.
