My friend is travelling to Greece in July to get married. I am a wedding guest. Do you think it will go ahead? The news said 'holidays banned until July' but it doesn't say when in July

I personally think it's really unlikely, and if it does go ahead, you'll probably have to quarantine on your return.

They have just said on sky news that one of the permissible reasons for travel is to get married or be a guest at a wedding

I don’t necessarily agree with that when people haven’t seen family abroad for months but there you go

I think holidays to low rate destinations will be possible from July as does my friend who works for easy jet they are still taking bookings and planning to be flying, the goverment are working on a new travel traffic light system to restart international travel which I think will be similar to last years corridors, so it will very much depend on the situation in the country at the time. I think they are reporting the findings of this on April 12th so you will know more then. I really hope you are able to go and your friends wedding goes ahead. We are hoping to visit family in Portugal in July.
