Hi all, came on here for a bit of advice re starting back at work after furlough.
My boss has contacted me to say that we will be reopening week beginning 12th April and it appears that no health & safety measures have been put in place to facilitate it.
To give a bit more detail; I work in a customer facing role within a leisure centre in a very tiny office/shoe box. The office is split in two, with the admin guy in the main/biggest part and myself and customer would be in the adjoining smaller part. The office has no windows, no proper ventilation only air con and the exit door is only accessible via the main section.
Social distancing is literally impossible and my boss has said it probably wouldn't work to try and install a screen. On top of that masks are not mandatory in gyms and it doesn't seem like he wants to try and tell customers that they need to wear one during their consultation.

I feel pretty uneasy about all of this but am not sure where to go from here. Any advise we would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You need a different place for your meetings with customers. At my leisure centre you need to wear masks when moving around it and if in meetings so they should look at bringing that in too if unable to socially distance.

@dementedpixie Definitely. Unfortunately there is absolutely no other available room/space in the whole building, every inch is accounted for. Masks surely are going to have to become mandatory off the gym floor I would think
