Booking a test

I'm trying to book a test for my ds1 who has a new cough that I noticed after school pick up. There is a technical issue preventing me from booking one online and using 119. Is there any other way to book a test? I want dc to miss as little school as possible, or should I just wait and try again later?

Can you not ring 119?

Try later? He has to self isolate anyway as do you and any others in household until result is back and negative, so a few hours makes little difference.

@JanFebAnyMonth I did try 119, but the lady on the phone said to try again in 30min.

We will stay home and isolate until he gets tested and we get the results. I just wanted to try and hurry things along if it was possible. I'm getting the kids ready for bed now and will try again late.
