Reading Boris’ comments today about a third Covid wave in the U.K., I imagine we will be under restrictions for quite some time whether we test or don’t test! Testing is not a way out of this.

Exactly - testing only means you're negative at the time of the test.

I've been testing weekly since last summer as am on a vaccine trial. I'm now also doing the LFHs we've been asked to do.

I don't understand why anyone wouldn't.

I can see the positives but on the other hand I’m a bit concerned that the increase in “cases” even if just asymptomatic ones will be used to keep us locked up li fee even where there is no increase in hospitalisation or deaths.
